A lightly comedic weekly column, Dan and Jay’s “Men About Globe” was a somewhat tongue-in-cheek attempt to chronicle their globetrotting adventures and a very real attempt to make the people of Cleveland “regret doing so very little with the so very much they’ve been given.”  The people of Cleveland, surprisingly, begged for more columns from the two, most surprisingly because the tone of those same columns got increasingly more insulting and classist as the years went on.
