Both Paloof and Manstuff were disheartened to leave the Chicago World’s Fair for even a brief period, but both followed their subpoenas to appear before the court in Bedford, Massachusetts.  There, they presented their sketch, in one part, “The Lizzie Sketch.”  The following day, Borden was acquitted, and remained a benefactor to the group for the rest of her life.
